What is the Lourdes Kindness Pilgrimage?
We are a small charity founded in 1989 following Peadar Clarke’s miraculous cure of MS while on pilgrimage in Lourdes. Since then, our aim is to raise enough money to fund our annual fully equipped Invalid Pilgrimage to Lourdes every June.

What do we do?
By means of various fundraisers, sponsorships and events throughout the year, we raise funds to bring those who are sick, elderly, or lonely to Lourdes and offer subsidies to volunteers who come as Official Carers to look after these people. We also bring our own team of nurses and doctors to look after our sick, and of course, our Spiritual Leaders to guide us all together in faith.

Why Lourdes “Kindness”?
The Kindness that was shown to Peadar and his wife Terry, by various people, volunteers, nurses, and hotel staff – all strangers to them then – on their first trip to Lourdes, lives on in the charitable work of the Lourdes Kindness Pilgrimage. With your help, we can continue our mission of Kindness to others.

The typical Lourdes Kindness Pilgrimage  package includes:

• Direct return flights
• Transfer and assistance between airport and your hotel on arrival and departure
• Hotel accommodation on full board basis
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day
• Full religious programme organised by Joe Walsh Tours in conjunction with the Kindness Pilgrimage
• 20kg check-in luggage allowance
• Full assistance of Joe Walsh Tours guides and representatives throughout the pilgrimage and at airports
