Easter or Holy Week is the most sacred time of the year and also a very special time for pilgrimage. At Joe Walsh Tours we have a selection of wonderful Easter pilgrimage tours from Ireland as the shrines commemorate the Passion of Christ.
Spring is a great time of the year to travel as Easter marks the start of pilgrimage season. Our local teams are looking forward to meeting all our 2024 pilgrims.
EASTER PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES
DEPARTING: 27TH MARCH | 4 NIGHTS
Joining this tour, pilgrims will get to experience Holy Thursday and Good Friday at the Sanctuary, and take part in special events such as the Mass of the Last Supper and the Way of the Cross on Good Friday.
Our classic pilgrimage to Lourdes follows a detailed programme organised by the Joe Walsh Tours team and led by our knowledgeable team in Lourdes led by Fionnuala Brua and Caroline Trainor.
During the pilgrimage, pilgrims will visit the Grotto, Baths, Basilicas and follow the Stations of the Cross. They will also take part in the striking processions such as the evening Torchlight Marian procession.
A guided walking tour of Lourdes also takes pilgrims to the places associated with the life of Saint Bernadette.
