Autumn is just around the corner and at Joe Walsh Tours we would like to share with you inspiring pilgrimages departing this Autumn to some of our most beloved shrines:
1 – AUTUMN IN LOURDES
Our knowledgeable team in Lourdes led by Fionnuala Brua and Caroline Trainor are delighted to welcome you this Autumn!
We have some spaces available for our last pilgrimages of the season departing to Lourdes, including our group and Diocesan Pilgrimages.
Some of these Autumn Pilgrimages are: the Carmelite Pilgrimage to Lourdes, departing 27th September from Cork and Dublin, the Killaloe Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, departing 2nd October from Shannon, and of course our classic Lourdes Pilgrimages, departing the end of September and the beginning of October.
During your pilgrimage to Lourdes, you will visit the sites associated with the life of Saint Bernadette such as the Grotto, Baths, Basilicas, the Stations of the Cross, and more.

2 – AUTUMN IN ROME
You still have time to book our very special Autumn Pilgrimage departing to Rome this 12th November from Dublin.
This 6-night pilgrimage includes all masses in Latin and visits to Rome’s most important basilicas and shrines, including Vatican City and Saint Peter’s Basilica, Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, Basilica of St John Lateran, Chiesa Nuova, and more.
We will also take you on a sightseeing tour of the city to admire Rome’s most iconic historic monuments and wonderful squares, such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Roman Forum.

3 – AUTUMN IN MEDJUGORJE
Autumn is probably the best time of the year to travel to Medjugorje, to experience this beautiful shrine of spirituality and peace as well as honouring Our Lady Queen of Peace.
Our Autumn available dates are: 19th October, and 21st October from Dublin.
Pilgrimage to Medjugorje includes a detailed religious programme, including English Mass every morning, evening ceremonies and visits to the sanctuary’s most important places such as the Blue Cross, Apparition Hill, Mount Krizevac, Cennacolo Community and the Community of the Oasis of Peace. All of this with the support of our knowledgeable team in Medjugorje, led by Philip Ryan.

4 – CAMINO DE SANTIAGO IN AUTUMN
Would you like to go on a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, the city of St James?
We have the last seats available on our Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage departing this October from Dublin.
During our Camino Guided tours you will travel by bus to the trail each morning so you don’t need to pack your bags each day and enjoy your Camino experience in comfort.
COASTAL CAMINO PORTUGUES: Departing 15th October 2023
On the Coastal Camino Portugues, you will walk the last 100 km of this famous route from the coast of Vigo, admiring its stunning coastal scenery.
Our Coastal Camino Portugues guided tour includes four nights in Vigo, and three nights in Santiago de Compostela.
CAMINO FRANCES: Departing 20th October 2023.
On our Camino Frances guided tour, you will walk the last 100 km from the market town of Sarria, through the green rolling countryside of Galicia to Santiago de Compostela.
The Camino Frances guided tour includes four nights in the wonderful city of Lugo, and three nights in Santiago de Compostela.
All walkers will get their official pilgrim passport so you can stamp it along the way and get your Compostela certificate at the Pilgrims Office.
