DAY 1 – Arrival in Rome – Transfer to Assisi

  • Departure from Dublin airport at 10:25am with Aer Lingus.
  • Arrival in Rome at approximately 14:30.
  • Meet your guide and transfer by private coach to Assisi.
  • Transfer to Assisi by private coach.
  • Check-in at your hotel and settle in.
  • Dinner and free evening at the indoor swimming and spa facilities.
  • Overnight in Assisi.

DAY 2 – In the Footsteps of St Francis – Upper Assisi

  • Visit the Basilica of St Clare.
  • Walk through the medieval town: San Rufino, Santa Chiara, and Piazza del Comune.
  • Visit the Basilica of St. Francis (Upper & Lower Churches).
  • Celebrate Mass in Santa Maria Maggiore , Carlo Acutis’s church oF spoliation.
  • Overnight in Assisi.

DAY 3 – Cascia & Lower Assisi

  • Early departure for Cascia (approx. 2 hrs).
  • Visit Shrine of St. Rita – Basilica, the tomb of St. Rita, and the Eucharistic Miracle chapel.
  • Return to Assisi for lunch time and gifts.
  • Afternoon visit at Santa Maria degli Angeli to see the Porziuncola, the heart of the Franciscan movement.
  • Mass and time for prayer.
  • Overnight in Assisi.

DAY 4 – Assisi to Rome via Genzano

  • Depart Assisi after breakfast.
  • Stop in Genzano di Roma, known for its historical churches and beautiful views of the Lake.
  • Visit local religious sites and enjoy lunch in the Castelli Romani area.
  • Continue on to Rome and check in at the hotel.
  • Evening at leisure.
  • Overnight in Rome.

DAY 5 – Rome and The Vatican

  • Visit St. Peter’s Basilica, the Grottoes and the Vatican area.
  • Lunch.
  • Afternoon visit and Mass in St Mary Major Basilica and Santa Prassede.
  • Walking tour of Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps on the way back to the hotel.
  • Overnight in Rome.
  • Free evening to explore Campo dei Fiori and the Trastevere area.

DAY 6 – Major Basilicas & Christian Rome

  • Morning visits to St. John Lateran and the Holy Stairs . Mass and quick photo stop at the Colosseum.
  • Transfer to Rome airport for the return flight back to Dublin departing at 14:10pm.
  • Price per person based on two adults sharing rooms
  • Single occupancy is available on request at a supplement of €60 per night
