Dioceses of Clonfert, Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora Pilgrimage to Lourdes

The Clonfert, Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from 29 June to 4th July 2026, led by Bishop Michael Duignan.

A detailed religious programme is organized by Joe Walsh Tours in conjunction with the Clonfert, Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora Diocesan Pilgrimage, so pilgrims can have a very special time at the Sanctuary.

The Clonfert, Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes includes:

• Direct flight from Shannon to Lourdes
• Coach to and from Shannon Airport (Route 1 pickup points: Ballinasloe and Loughrea / Route 2 pickup points: Galway Cathedral, Oranmore, Clarinbridge and Gort)
• Transfer on arrival to hotels in Lourdes
• 5 nights’ hotel accommodation
• Breakfast, lunch & dinner each day
• Transfer from hotels to Lourdes Airport
• Direct flight from Lourdes to Shannon
• 1 x 20kg check-in bag & 1 x small cabin bag

PLEASE NOTE:  All pilgrims will be accommodated in hotels. All pilgrims should be able to undertake the pilgrimage independently or with the assistance of someone accompanying them and taking responsibility for their care.

DEDICATED ASSISTED PILGRIMS

Pilgrims who would like to travel as part of the Dedicated Assisted Pilgrims section should apply to: Joe Walsh Tours by telephone 01-2410800 or email Lourdes@joewalshtours.ie. Your contact details will be then passed to the pilgrimage nurse who will follow up with you for your medical assessment. Acceptance for travel is subject to approval of the Pilgrimage Medical Board. Application deadline: 1st May 2026.
