Saint James Day in Santiago de Compostela ITINERARY

Day 1 – Fri 23 July

Today you will fly from Dublin to Santiago de Compostela. Our local guide will welcome the group at Rosalia de Castro Airport and travel to the hotel on a private coach. Your home for the next three nights will be the 4* Hotel Exe Peregrino.

The group will enjoy a welcome dinner together at the hotel.

Day 2 – Sat 24 July

After breakfast the group will be picked up and travel to Monte do Gozo to walk the last 5km of the famous Camino Francés into the city. Afterwards, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Cathedral and Museum (with entry & audio whispers) and spend a free afternoon in the Old Town in anticipation to the traditional Saint James Eve fireworks display.

Day 3 – Sun 25 Jul – St. James Day

Guided walking tour of Santiago’s Old Town to experience the national festival, street parades, and bagpipes.

Day 4 – Mon 26 Jul

Free morning to explore Santiago further before getting picked up and travel back to Santiago de Compostela Rosalia de Castro Airport for your flight back to Dublin.
