The 5th International Meeting of Choirs in the Vatican (IMCV2027), will take place in February 2027, bringing together experts on sacred and liturgical music from all around the world. The programme will also include a special papal audience with with Pope Leo XIV.

This International Meeting will start on Friday 5th February with conferences and testimonies, in addition to practices and rehearsals, moderated by Mons. Marco Frisina, director of the Choir of the Diocese of Rome.

On Saturday morning, the meeting will include a special Audience with Pope Leo XIV, followed by a grand Concert on Saturday afternoon, with singers forming a single large polyphonic Choir led by the Choir of the Diocese of Rome.

The Meeting will close on Sunday with the Holy Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica, where all choir singers will animate the hymns.
