In Padua, the group will visit its famous St. Anthony’s Basilica and enjoy a guided walking tour of the city including Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe and its famous market. Don’t forget Padua’s highlights and historical sites, such as the Basilica of Saint Giustina.
The group will attend mass in The church of the Capuchin friars of Padua, known as the Sanctuary of St. Leopold Mandić. They can also take an optional excursion to Venice. Next stop will be Trento, situated along the Adige River in the South Tyrol region of northern Italy. Trento is a city rich in religious, historical, and cultural significance, making it a meaningful stop for pilgrims with its Cathedral ‘Duomo di San Vigilio’, the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Buonconsiglio Castle. The group will continue to Riva del Garda, located on the northern shore of Lake Garda, a picturesque town surrounded by mountains and water. Explore and attend mass at explore the church of Santa Maria Assunta and the church of Inviolata.
