Tailored Group Pilgrimage to Malta, on the footsteps of St. Paul
DAY 1 – DUBLIN TO MALTA
Today the group will travel from Dublin to Malta. You will meet our rep at Dublin Airport for assistance and the local guide will meet the group at the airport in Malta.
Transfer to the Plaza hotel, where you will be staying for the duration of this Malta Pilgrimage tour in the footsteps of St Paul.
DAY 2 – VALLETTA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meet with a guide for the half day tour of Valleta visiting St John’s co-Cathedral and attend Mass at the Church of St Paul’s Shipwreck. Transfer to Sliema to experience the Harboure cruise.
The walking tour takes in various places of interest and will finish back at the hotel by 5pm, approx.
Free time for lunch during the day.
DAY 3 – MOSTA DOME, RABAT AND MDINA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our Malta Pilgrims continues today with a full day tour to Mosta Dome in Rabat, explore Rabat’s places of interest, St Paul’s Grotto and the Catacombs.
The group will then attend Mass at St Publius Church in Rabat, entrance through Wignacourte Museum.
To finish today’s tour, stroll the medieval city of Mdina with its fortress and bastions alongside its Cathedral.
Free time for lunch during the day.
DAY 4 – FREE DAY
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today the group will attend Mass at Our Lady Star of the sea in Sliema and enjoy a free day to explore or relax.
DAY 5 – GOZO
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning you will travel to the island of Gozo for a full day tour by coach.
Discover and explore the historic Ggantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Considered to be the second oldest manmade religious structures in the world.
Free time for lunch.
Transfer back to Mgarr Ferry Terminal and continue to tour. End the day with afternoon free at leisure.
DAY 6 – SOUTH TOUR OF MALTA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Blue Grotto (a boat trip into the grottos is optional and can be organised directly with the boatmen, weather dependent), Hagar Qim Temples and Tas’Silg where you will attend Mass at the chapel of Madonna Tas’Silg.
After Mass, travel to the Marsaxlokk fishing village where you will enjoy free time for lunch, enjoy a stroll along the seafront and check out the market.
Free time for lunch.
DAY 7 – MELLIEHA
After breakfast , experience a half day tour visiting the Sanctuary of Our Lady church in Mellieha and attend a private Mass at the Sanctuary.
Pilgrims will then travel to St Paul’s Bay where we will take a short cruise by Luzzu to St Paul’s Islands (1½ hours approx).
Afternoon free at leisure.
DAY 8 – MALTA TO DUBLIN
After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel for the return flight to Dublin.
