Join the Wexford Parish pilgrimage to Holy Land in March 2023, a once in a lifetime journey to the world’s oldest and most sacred destination for pilgrims.

Jerusalem and the Holy Land, the region between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, has been considered sacred by Christians but also by pilgrims of other faiths such as Jews and Muslims for many centuries.

For Christians, undertaking a pilgrimage to the Holy Land is a highly spiritual and extraordinary experience, bringing pilgrims closer to God and faith. As we travel in the footsteps of Jesus, we will revisit his life and work in the place where he was born, where he lived and preached; as well as where he suffered the crucifixion before finally resurrecting.

On this pilgrimage to the Holy Land with Spiritual Director Fr James Cullen, the group will visit important biblical places such as Bethlehem and the church of the Nativity; the Mount of Olives as well as the Old City of Jerusalem where you will walk the Via Dolorosa and have Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

We will also travel to the fascinating Dead Sea where you will have time to relax and float on the water; we will take a boat trip across the Sea of Galilee and you will also renew your Bamptismal vows at Yardinet, the Baptismal site on the River Jordan.
