Join this week-long Malta Pilgrimage taking pilgrims to the islands of Malta and Gozo following in the footsteps of St Paul.
Departing in June 2024, we will be visiting wonderful places and shrines related to the life and work of the Apostle and admiring the many sights of beautiful Malta.

Our Malta Pilgrimage includes a day tour of Valletta where pilgrims can admire St John's Cathedral; as well as a day exploring Mdna, Rabat and Mosta including a visit to St Paul's Grotto and the catacombs. We will also take a ferry to the island of Gozo and take a cruise to St Paul's Islands and visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady in Mellieha. 

A schedule of masses in local shrines has also been organised for pilgrims on this superb trip to Malta.

DAY 1 – DUBLIN TO MALTA

Today the group will travel from Dublin to Malta. You will meet our rep at Dublin Airport for assistance and our local guide will meet the group at the airport in Malta.

Transfer to the Hotel Plaza in Sliema, where you will be staying for the duration of this Malta Pilgrimage tour in the footsteps of St Paul. 

DAY 2 – VALLETTA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today we will enjoy a tour visiting Upper Barrakka Gardens, St John's co-Cathedral and attend Mass at the Church of St Paul's Shipwreck.

The walking tour takes in various places of interest and will finish back at the hotel by 5pm, approx. 

We have scheduled some free time for lunch during the day.

DAY 3 – MOSTA DOME, RABAT AND MDINA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Our Malta Pilgrims continues today with a visit to Mosta Dome in Rabat, explore Rabat's places of interest, St Paul's Grotto and the catacombs. 

The group will then attend Mass at St Publius Church in Rabat, above St Paul's Grotto.

To finish today's tour, we will stroll the medieval city of Mdina with its fortress and bastions.

We have scheduled free time for lunch during the day. 

DAY 4 – GOZO 

Breakfast at the hotel.

This morning we will travel to the island of Gozo.

At 8am the group will travel to Cirkewwa Harbour to take the 9am ferry to Gozo.

9.30am Arrival in Gozo and start of the tour visiting: Victoria and Cittadella, Ta' Pinu Church where pilgrims will attend Mass, Xlendi Village and Dwejra Inland Sea. 

The tour will end at the harbour in Gozo and pilgrims will take the 16.30pm ferry back to Malta.

Free time has been scheduled for lunch during the day. 

DAY 5 – FREE DAY 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today the group will attend Mass at the Carmelite Convent in Sliema and enjoy a free day to explore or relax. 

DAY 6 – SOUTH TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today we will visit the Blue Grotto (a boat trip into the grottos is optional and can be organised directly with the boatmen, weather dependent), Hagar Qim Temples and Tas-Silg where we will attend Mass at the chapel of Madonna Tas-Silg.

After Mass we will travel to the Marsaxlokk fishing village where you will enjoy free time for lunch, enjoy a stroll along the seafront and check out the market.

DAY 7 – MELIEHA

After breakfast we will head for a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady in Mellieha and attend Mass at the Sanctuary.

Pilgrims will then travel to St Paul's Bay where we will take a short cruise to St Paul's Islands (1½ hours approx).

Afternoon free at leisure.

DAY 8 – MALTA TO DUBLIN >

After breakfast, the group will attend morning Mass at the Carmelite Convent in Sliema before being picked up at the hotel for the return flight to Dublin.
