Join our Pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo this September, as we celebrate St Padre Pio’s Feast on the anniversary of his death, 23rd September.
Padre Pio, a priest born in the town of Pietrelcina, was renowned for his devotion to God and his spiritual abilities and visions that were considered miraculous by those who witnessed them. He lived in the monastery of San Giovanni Rotondo, where he would say Mass and hear confession. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2002.
This journey will take pilgrims to San Giovanni Rotondo, in the region of Puglia, where we will learn about the life and work of Padre Pio, visiting the Friary where St Padre Pio lived, his resting place, the Station of the Cross, the English office and other important religious sites.
