Join our Ecumenical Pilgrimage to Rome, departing 30th October 2023 from Dublin and experience the Vatican and Rome’s most important basilicas and religious sites.
We will start our pilgrimage visiting the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, built in the 4th century where the disciple was buried. Then we will visit the Vatican museums and Saint Peter’s Basilica before enjoying a walking tour of Rome. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour of this magnificent city admiring its extraordinary heritage and its most iconic monuments, such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, or the Roman Forum.

In Rome we will explore its magnificent squares, such as Piazza Di Trevi as well as visiting the Ireland and Anglican office and the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj.
On the last day we will visit the Basilica of Saint John Lateran, and the Basilica of Saint Mary Majors, one of the first shrines dedicated to Our Lady and home to exquisite mosaics.

Ecumenical Pilgrimage to Rome

Join our Ecumenical Pilgrimage to Rome, departing 30th October 2023 from Dublin and experience the Vatican and Rome’s most important basilicas and religious sites.

DAY 1:30th October
Upon arrival in Rome, we will visit the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls where we will have Mass. The Basilica was built in the 4th century where the Disciple Paul was buried. The remains of Saint Paul are housed in a tomb in the Basilica’s crypt.
If time permits, we will enjoy a walking tour of Rome before checking for the hotel.

DAY 2: 31st October
Today we will visit the Vatican Museums and Saint Peter’s Basilica, destination of pilgrims to Rome and centre of Christendom.

DAY 3: 1st November
Today we will enjoy a walking tour of the historical city of Rome and its magnificent squares, such as Piazza Venezia or Piazza Di Trevi.

DAY 4: 2nd November
We will visit Ireland and the Anglican office in Rome and the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, a beautiful 15th-18th century palace and one of the most amazing galleries in Rome. It houses works by Raphael, Tiziano, Caravaggio, Velazquez and Bernini.

DAY 5: 3rd November
In Rome, the group will enjoy a sightseeing tour of this magnificent city admiring its extraordinary heritage and its most iconic monuments, such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, or the Roman Forum.

DAY 6: 4th November
Today we will visit the Basilica of Saint John Lateran, considered the Mother Church of Roman Catholics, and the Cathedral of Rome. This Basilica is the site of the first church allowed by Emperor Constantine. We will also take you to the Basilica of Saint Mary Majors, one of the first shrines dedicated to Our Lady and home to exquisite mosaics.

DAY 7: 5th November
Before our departure flight to Dublin, we will have morning Mass & Service time for lunch.
