DAY 1: DUBLIN TO ROME

You will be welcomed by your friendly tour guide at Dublin Airport before flying to Rome and making our way to our luxury hotel to rest and relax before taking in all the amazing wonders of Eternal Rome.

DAY 2: VATICAN CITY AND TOUR OF ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Vatican City and the St. Peters Basilica. After some free time for lunch, we will head for the centre of the city and have a guided tour taking in the magnificent Colosseum, the ruins of the once mighty Roman Forum and the most ancient part of Rome itself the Palatine.

DAY 3: FREE DAY TO EXPLORE ROME

Today you have the full day to free explore the area at leisure or relax at the hotel. The local guide will offer recommendations on things to see and do in the area.

DAY 4: NAPLES AND POMPEII 

Today we will leave Rome behind and travel to Naples where we will enjoy a Panoramic Coach tour of the city followed by free time before continuing on to Pompeii. Once we arrive in Pompeii we will tour this famous archaeological site, a Roman city destroyed in 79 CE when nearby Mount Vesuvius erupted. This site is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. From here we will travel a short while to Sorrento and check into our hotel.

DAY 5: SORRENTO

This morning we will be taking part in a wonderful sightseeing tour of Sorrento followed by a day for resting, relaxing and enjoying the famous Italian sun by the pool or wandering through the fabulous restaurants and shops of this beautiful location.

DAY 6: AMALFI COAST

After breakfast, we will start a full-day tour by coach of the Amalfi Coast which by all accounts is one of the most picturesque locations in Europe. Today's stunning views will leave a lasting impression. Named an outstanding example of Mediterranean landscape by UNESCO, the Amalfi Coast is one of Italy’s most striking destinations. Mountains, sheer cliffs, a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and beautiful pastel-colored fishing villages line the coast.

DAY 7: ISLAND OF CAPRI

Once we have had breakfast we will catch a ferry to a gorgeous island just off the coast in the Bay of Naples. The Island of Capri is filled with natural sites like the Blue Grotto, shopping from designer fashions to limoncello and handmade leather sandals, boat tours and so much more. All of this will be yours to explore today at your leisure. Once we are finished on the Island we will return to the lovely Sorrento to our Hotel.

DAY 8: BACK TO DUBLIN

We will say goodbye to this amazing country right after we get one more lovely Italian breakfast and begin our journey home.
