World War II Tours

Although Ireland was officially neutral during World War II, Irish soldiers, sailors and airmen fought in great numbers in Allied forces and featured on all of the famous battlefields. We study those battlefields, in particular Normandy and Cassino, examine the terrain and visit the associated museums and cemeteries to remember how these actions contributed to the defeat of Nazism in Europe.

Private family tours are also available. Please give our experienced Military & Heritage Tours specialists a call on 01 241 0800 or email info@joewalshtours.ie to enquire and we will tailor-make a private heritage tour to accommodate your family’s special requests.
